Convergence - The Story
Award winning Italian pianist joins Australian saxophonist Mark Ginsburg to create a unique collection of works reflecting their musical and personal influences. Recorded in Rome, Italy, with post production taking place in Sydney, Australia, this album showcases the intimacy and excitement of acoustic, electronic instruments and voices delivered with virtuosic interaction. The listener will be surprised and inspired by this convergence of genres.
The Convergence project was born as a result of Vittorio Mezza and Mark Ginsburg meeting in the USA in 2009. Although living on different continents, Mark and Vittorio have maintained contact and shared musical material and ideas leading to the development and recording of the Convergence project.
